For you Harry Potter fans, the long wait is over for the new expansion at Universal Studios in Orlando! The new Diagon Alley officially opened on July 8th to a huge crowd of fans!
What makes the new attraction different from the other Harry Potter area at Universal? For starters, it's triple the size of the original attraction. It is also located at the original Universal Studios and not in Islands of Adventure allowing guests to experience Harry in both parks!
Diagon Alley is pretty authentic. The details of the buildings are just amazing. The area also has a knockturn alley with Borgin and Burkes, as well as The Leaky Cauldron restaurant serving up some interesting English food.
The main attraction is the Gringotts Bank ride. As you stroll around the area you'll see some interesting items including the large fire breathing (yes real fire) dragon on top of the bank, along with areas that only work if you use an enhanced wand..
We don't want to spoil the fun! Go check it out even if you're not a Harry Potter fan. The displays and creativity alone is worth a stroll in this part of Universal Studios.
