This museum hosts one of the oldest and most distinguished collections in Central Florida. The Cornell Fine Arts Museum is an intimate and unique experience with more than 5,000 works of art. The selected artists range from antiquity and contemporary which include famous artists Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Thomas Scheibitz, Maya Lin, and many others.
The collection is primarily composed of portraits and includes natural history artifacts. Paintings are from as early as the 14th century. Educational programs, gallery talks, tours, films, and art activities are available along with scavenger hunts for younger visitors. The museum is located in Winter Park on the campus of Rollins College overlooking Lake Virginia. Admission and activities are free to the public.
